Sofia Rhys. “So, you’re our babysitter?” I deadpanned, my bored gaze settled on the man that’s been following us around, never letting us out of his sight. It’s starting to annoy me really. He held a hand up, then his response came. “Not babysitting, protecting.” He corrected, like it’s a well-known fact. “I’m protecting you both, especially not after what happened last night.” His gaze remained fixed on the TV when he said that, the movie seemingly of more interest to him that being involved in a bicker I’m no doubt stirring out of boredom. I could only hum, uninterested. He claims he’s protecting us but I know better. He’s babysitting us and keeping an eye on the one with the most potential of doing something off—me.
