Sofia Rhys. I couldn’t get through to Sloan no matter how many times I’d tried. I simply came to the conclusion that she’s probably caught with work—resolving to sending her a message about my departure instead, promising to call her back when we land safely. It’s not the first time she’s going MIA anyway. With the nature of her work, we tend to lose contact with her every once in a while when the work becomes too much, days that she has to spend the nights in the hospitals taking various shifts. There were times that Lena and I had to give her surprise visits and force her to at least rest for a short while and eat to stay nourished. Of the three of us, she’s the oldest and has been acting as such. Yet, she spends so much time caring for others that she fails to take care of herself. S
