It’s one thing to be betrayed by Daniel, and it’s another to be betrayed by Sloan.
With Daniel, I’d say it’s a bit less than the pain I feel compared to being betrayed by Sloan. It’s hard to explain really.
Daniel is someone I met when I was an intern at the company, he was kind to me from day one and we eventually became close. I don’t have as much expectations from him compared to Sloan. Sure, I was planning on spending my life with him, so I certainly had feelings for him.
But, a part of me anticipated his betrayal, just not for it to be served cold like that. I wasn’t prepared to be betrayed like this by him.
