Sofia Rhys. “I’ve been invited to a fundraiser tonight. I want you to accompany me.” Those were Daniel’s parting words to me before he dropped me off at home, asking me to be his date to this fundraiser dinner that I now have to attend as well. At this point, it feels like a norm really because for as long as I can remember, even before we got together, I’d always accompanied him to any event. Because of this, we naturally grew even closer to the point that people started to assume we were together, even when we weren’t.
