The Petals Fundraiser is an event hosted by one of our business partners, and it’s held annually. I know because I’ve been attending with Daniel for the past for years in a row, and at this point, I’ve gotten accustomed to most of the people there.
There’s one thing I’m yet to get accustomed to though, the surprises that comes with the event and the impact it leaves on one by the end of the day. It’s hard to explain, but the night always ends and leave you with something to think of. It never leaves the one you go there.
I’m still yet to point a finger on whether it’s a good feeling or not. I haven’t figured it for myself yet. But, I don’t have time to ponder over it, especially not when a hand stretched out in front of me, and I found myself slipping my hand into it.
