He did not care whether or not the whole world crumbled underneath him and swallowed everyone up. The world could go straight to Hell as far as Adolf was concerned.
And that was the start of the attraction between Ubel and Adolf.
Adolf had fought in the Great War. He was a war hero, even though Germany and her allies lay in rubble. Adolf had even been awarded many medals for his valor. He suffered trauma and possible blindness from a mustard gas attack
