Poor Corey looked so confused and so intrigued. He was watching how Jayden and Kennedy interacted with each other as they stood together with my mom in the kitchen. I was leaning against his shoulder with my headphones on as he absentmindedly stroke my stomach. I felt like a lapdog, and it wasn't a bad feeling. The kid was giving me attention and I was in control of how much of it I wanted. "They keep turning to look at you and biting their lips!" Corey gasped in my ear. "Micah! Micah, they're all giddy and they're talking about you!" He tugged my headphones off and I growled at him, literally. "Watch it, boy..." I said lowly, stubbornly plugging my headphones back in. "I couldn't care less what they're doing..." "Don't take it personal, Corey" Jayden snickered loudly in the kitchen.
