31 After the bath, we all got haircuts, even Levi. Harriet made quick work of it, leaving a deep carpet of curls on the floor. Loïc and Hassan got ponytails, and Horace got these tight little braids she called ‘droids.’ The girls got a bit more attention, with Astrid and Agnes even going under the giant helmets. To me, Harriet said, “You, princess, don’t need any styling. Your hair curls up like a Pre-Raphaelite. But I will give you some highlights.” “Where’d you get your knowledge?” I asked, struck curious. “Here in the city.” “They archived everything,” she said and touched my nose. “Mostly to keep it away from people like you!
