“You are not married yet, Ethan.” I try to lighten the mood but given how he glares at me; I can safely say I miserably failed.
“What is happening now?” I sigh.
“My informant called.” Jonathan says.
“And?”
“He confirmed that the MS13 gang was after a Harper Young for her parents’ unpaid debt.”
That validates what Harper told us all along… I want to heave a sigh of relief, but I still feel that something is missing from this story.
If the information Jonathan got, confirms Harper’s version, then Ethan would not be cursing right now.
