Harper shivers in fear, and she has to put her hands in her pockets to compose herself.
I wonder who Becky is and who is this guy “that is back”. For Harper to be scared, he must be dangerous.
“Yes… He wants to take Tom.” Lilian explains.
“What do you mean take Tom?”
“Initiate him… Into the gang.”
“What!” Harper yells, ignoring the fact that we are in a hospital hall.
“Shhh. Calm down.” her friend begs.
“How the hell do you want me to calm down? How the hell did he find her!?”
“I don’t know… The perks of being in a gang, I presume.” Lilian whispers.
“Where is she?”
“Still in her apartment.”
“Is she out of her mind? She needs to leave… Now.”
