“Call in the standby guards; he couldn't have gone far," the doctor screamed at the maids who were present to witness everything.
All hands were on deck to ensure there were no loopholes.
Other maids come in to help their unconscious colleagues. No one was idle. They were all aware of the situation at hand.
Nurses and doctors rush through the hallways, asking other patients if they had seen Xavier pass by.
“Not yet, we haven't set our eyes on him,” I was quick to respond.
“Will everything be fine?”
I ask the nurses for assurance.
As much as Xavier is a jerk, I can't bear to see him get hurt.
The guards that the nurses call for are running through the halls too. Everyone is looking for him.
