The rhythmic cadence echoed the beating of my heart as I fixated on her face, unable to avert my gaze. After she fainted on the ground, I carried her to my room, grappling with the uncertainty of where to take her. Discovering her luggage on the field signified one thing—she had been evicted.
I could do nothing about it; taking a stand would only align me with her and potentially invite more enemies. The only viable option was to bring her to my room.
"What problem have you caused again?" I questioned her drowsy figure, smiling as I stared at her before covering her up.
