''your enemy is closest to you!"
I groaned as I turned on the bed, tired of hearing the voice speak. Since Ruby had returned to her dormitory and the headmistress gave her a new room, I was trying to get a good night's rest when the voice started again. Now, alone, I wanted to stop hearing it, but I couldn't. Instead, the voice kept resounding in my head.
I couldn't figure out why I was hearing the voice of someone I didn't know about.
"Your enemy is closest to you!" The voice sounded again, and I let out a scream, unable to take it any longer. I turned on the bed, closed my eyes, and covered my ears, hoping for a good night's rest, but another voice sounded.
"No matter how hard you try to run, your destiny will always be here waiting for you, and you can never change that."
