It's been days since I last saw him, spoke to him, or even tried to visit him in his dormitory. He was avoiding me, and I knew it concerned the vexathrolx shrine. It was the only reason he would prevent me from pretending I never existed.
Jayden believed that our destiny might turn out to be just like vexathrolx and Astrae, and he also refused to believe that Mason could be Nogard, his mortal enemy in his past life. All those excuses were why he had avoided me, but I wanted to see him and tell him everything would be alright and that we were different from Vexathrolx and Astrae, who couldn't fulfill their love.
I wanted us to learn more about Vexathrolx and Astrae together, but he had abandoned me while I searched the library books for stories about them everyday after class.
