I tossed around for the umpteenth time and finally settled on staring at the ceilings. I sighed as my fingers touched my lips, and I grinned. Tossing around again, I forgot I was not alone in the bed, sharing it with another girl from school. She stirred but didn't wake up, and I heaved a sigh of relief, glad she remained asleep. I had never wanted to share a room with her, recalling when she pushed me down the bed.
"I said I never wanted to share a room with her, and she ended up pushing me down the bed," I thought about what she could say and was relieved that she didn't wake up.
