"As I promised, I gather all of what was left of us and fled. We abandoned our cabins and fled further into the forest. We traveled for many years and finally, we have settled down where we are now. The most regrettable thing is that I didn't manage to find Sabrina that day, but fate had led her daughter to me instead after so many years." Anthony said and smiled at Eliza.
Eliza smiled back sadly.
"What happened to your mother? How did she die?" Anthony asked.
Eliza looked down at her hands as she fiddled with them. "I don't really know, actually. I never met her. I was told that I was found in the middle of the forest when I was about a few weeks old. My foster parents found me and raised me."
