After listening to that little explanation of the truth from Klaus, I could instantly feel the beating of my heart that had stopped now. My eyes moved wildly, trying to find out which truth I could believe now from Klaus's eyes that always looked cold and flat to me, but this time, I didn't find that at all from Klaus's eyes now. Those eyes showed an earnestness, and also honesty. Never once had I seen Klaus look at me with such a look, so full of honesty that it broke my heart.
But now that I think about it, I still can't fully understand the moment Klaus was born. How could a Luna give birth to a lump of flesh and make that flesh have to be divided into three to live normally? Klaus, Kristofer, and Kane. The three of them came from the same body, and that body was Klaus'.
