Chapter 64The Uber driver dropped them at the entrance to the parking garage. A brisk wind and thick mists swirled through the congested streets surrounding the San Francisco International Airport. Transportation zipping past pulled at the air around them.
“You have a way with people, Sara.” Huxley lifted the collar of his jacket against chill. “I haven't met anyone that didn't trust you.”
“That's so sweet of you, Hux.” Sara hugged herself to keep warm. The change from the tropical heat and balmy breezes of Hawaii to the ocean-cooled air of the Bay Area was quite numbing. “I wish we could have continued our Hawaii stay, but at least the depositions are done.
