Chapter 17No way would Sara or Huxley delay following through on the only lead they had. Huxley called his sister, Kerrie, in Oregon to let her know their new plans. He left brief messages for his son and daughter, Jackson and Hannah. He never spoke of them much, except to say that they worked on the farm under his sister. Sara had met them during the Christmas she spent in Oregon with Huxley's family. It was hers and his first Christmas together. Jackson and Hannah had remained aloof. Perhaps that was the way family reacted when a new person was introduced. That was a new experience for Sara. Jackson, tall and strong like his father, and as foreman of the entire farm conglomerate, put his size and strength to use in any way he found needing. Hannah proved to be an all-around office help
