Forget The Eks

In the mansion I made a fuss by running like a wild horse. I headed to my room and was thankful that dad didn't stop me for sleeping outside last night. Trisa must have made excuses for him.

Don't be surprised if I've only been talking about dad. I really don't have a mother. My mother was deceased and the women who were by my father's side were his girlfriends. My father didn't trust anyone enough to be his wife at his old age.

Of course they just wanted my dad's money, that's only natural since it's what my dad has since I'm sure his juniors don't even function well without the stimulants. He doesn't want his girlfriend to cause trouble for his children and make them understand her temporary position.

After I finished my make-up with the fastest time I've ever done, I descended the stairs to the main room which was as big as the hotel lobby. This is my favorite place as a child because I can run around and hang on the big crystal chandelier that hangs from the ceiling.

Then made all the maids panic because they were afraid that I would fall. It's because I'm like a monkey climbing up a tall curtain with a big canopy.

"Where's dad, Leo?" I asked the butler.

I love that one ally of mine. He's a good team so I can get away with dad's nagging.

"He left very early Bella. Now tell me what do you need to fill your stomach? Don't tell me you're on a diet," Leo asked and grumbled.

"No. Get me a sandwich because it's dad's betting day."

His eyebrows raised and he knew what I meant.

"I understand miss."

"Oh one more thing. Is Mr Jack ready in the car?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Good."

The moment I stepped out the door, there was a commotion made by someone in front of the double railing that had a doorman. He was screaming my name. And only one person will do it all. Who else but Brian.

"What should I do with her miss?" Leo asked.

"What's more, throw him out."

What am I going to do with this traitor. I'm so fed up with the man who turned out to be a parasite in my life. But he was so reckless that he stopped my car that was going to my father's colleague's company for an internship.

"Bella, please listen to me. Bella..."

He tapped my car window with his hand. I know he's in bad shape. Of course he came here not because of me but because of my father's money.

"Go on Mr Jack. He's no longer my taste."

Golden brown eyes flashed across mine. Erased any remaining admiration for Brian. I really can't deny that the man I help has turned my world around.

Bryan's scream brought me back from my daydream of awe. The doorman certainly will not remain silent. He dragged Brian from my car so I could leave.

Honestly, I'm almost crying right now because I remember remembering everything he's done. It turned out that the special treatment was because he did love the girl he said was his childhood friend. And I was so stupid not to notice the love that radiated through Brian's eyes.

"Bella, this is Ceris. My childhood friend," said Bryan, holding a beautiful girl in his arms.

Bella kinda doesn't like the way Bryan holds Ceris because he doesn't do it to her.

"Hi, Bella. I've heard a lot about you."

Ceris with a sweet smile extended her hand towards Bella.

"Hi Ceris. But she never told me about you."

"I'm not important. That's why he never told you about me."

"Hey, you're very important Ceris. You're my best friend."

Like a fairy, Ceris's sweet demeanor manages to win Bella's trust even though it is annoying at times. Especially at the beginning of their meeting, Bryan was so attentive to Ceris. He seemed to forget that Bella was by his side.

"Let's go in. The movie is about to start," said Ceris.

"Come on," said Bryan.

Bella agreed and was about to take Bryan's hand, but her boyfriend pulled Ceris in. He seemed to forget that Bella was his lover.

However, Bella, who had no negative thoughts, thought that they both missed each other too much. So give them a chance to reminisce.

Until when the two girls were cold but Bryan chose to give his jacket to Bella and let Bella. Bella froze and she observed Ceris' appearance. Bryan also invited Ceris to Tiffany & Co. It was there that Ceris showed her acting skills. She looked sadly at the jewelry in front of him knowing her parents wouldn't be able to buy it without a credit card.

"Bella is lucky to get a gift from you."

Not feeling well, Bryan also bought Ceris a bracelet too.

"This is for you. "

Ceris pretended to be surprised. She hugged and kissed Bryan on the cheek, but missed so she kissed his lips. Bryan was amazed and couldn't forget the accidental kiss.

Bella was really embarrassed when she thought back to the two of them. He was even surprised to be blind to the obvious. Now all that's left is hate.
