It was the day of prom.
To say I was excited was an understatement.
Riah was out getting her tux to match my dress.
I was glad we were back to the "Power Couple" people knew us as.
Riah said she had a surprise for me tonight.
She is always full of surprises.
"Samantha baby where you at."
"In the room" I yelled.
I heard the footsteps coming up there stairs and to our room.
"Bae, we gone be the sexiest couple at prom tonight."
"We are the sexiest couple everywhere we go."
She laughed at me.
"What time you want to leave out for prom." She asked me
"Round 9 you know that's when things pop off."
It was only 5 so we had time to kill.
"You know your beautiful right." She said kissing my neck making me giggle.
"One day I'm going to marry you and make you my forever." She said
"I can't wait to become your forever."
We laid in bed and watched movies till 8.
"You Gone shower, or you want to shower together." She asked.
"Together it will save us some time."
We got in the shower and played around a little.
I was in the middle of putting my makeup on when Riah walked in in her tux.
My baby looked sexy.
She looked good.
I just wanted to jump on her.
"Samantha."
"Huh."
She laughed
"Mama said when you get done come down so they can take a picture."
"Okay."
I finished my make up and put on my dress.
I made my way downstairs to join the others.
"Oh, my look at you baby." Ms. Monica said.
"You look gorgeous Samantha." Ms. Melinda said.
"Baby Girl you look stunning." My mom said.
"Let’s get these pictures."
After taking like 100 pictures we were headed to prom.
Prom was jumping.
Me and Riah was on the floor dancing to some song they had playing.
We were having fun.
Everyone enjoyed themselves.
Although somebody spiked the punch and some people got faded it was still a good night.
Prom was over and Riah was driving us to our hotel room.
I was tired and ready to see the surprise Riah had for me.
She pulled up at the Hilton hotel.
"My lady." She said opening the door for me to get out.
We walked into the hotel got the key and headed to our room.
Riah had me open the door and want my eyes landed on made me cry.
"Will You Marry Me" I whispered to myself.
I turned around to see Riah holding this beautiful ring and on one knee.
"I know I say this a lot, but I only say it cause I don't feel like I show it enough. I love you Samantha with all my heart. No words can explain the way I feel for you. Our love runs deeper than the ocean. I love everything about you. Your flaws and all. You make me feel whole and complete. You make me me. So, will you do me the honors of becoming my wife and giving me that Forever Ain't Enough Type Of Love. Will You Marry Me Samantha.”?
"Yes, a million times yes."
She put the ring on my finger then kissed me.
