"Riah where are we." Samantha asked "We are at Melinda's house." "Riah we can't be here. We need to leave." "No, I'm not going anywhere until I get answers." I got out the car and headed to knock on the door. "Riah slow down this is crazy." "Riah stop. Wait a minute Riah damn." I turned around to look at her. "What do you plan to solve here." "Everything. My mom treats me like I'm nothing since I'm with the same s*x, but she was once with the same s*x. I just want to know why all of a sudden she hates what she once was." I replied tearing up. "I understand that Riah but what if this Melinda woman has nothing to do with your mother's hatred. Then you came all this way for nothing." "It’s worth a shot Sammy." I turned and knocked on the door. "Who is it." A soft voice said behind the door. "Moriah." I soon realized saying my name was stupid cause she didn't even know me. "I'm uhh Monica my mom you know her." The door slowly opened and a beautiful lady that did look older than 25 opened the door. "Yes, I know Monica." "I'm here youngest daughter Moriah. This is my girlfriend Samantha may we come in." "Oh yes sure sorry." We walked into the house and it looked cozy. There was a little girl sitting on the floor playing with toys. She looked just like her mom. "Umm have a seat." We sat down and the little girl came and smiled at me and Samantha. "Want to play dolls with me." "Aww she's so cute what's her name." Samantha said taking the doll from the little girl. "Chasity honey take your dolls up to your room." "Can my new friends come with me." "Later sweetheart." "I'll go up with you Chasity let's let your mom and Riah talk. I'm Samantha and that mean girl sitting on your mom's couch is Riah she is scary." Samantha said walking off with Chasity. "What brings you by." "My mom she's uhh how do you say going through a hypocritical crisis." "What do you mean." "A few weeks ago, my mom and I got into an argument. She got upset because I do drugs trade with my older brother Morris. But what really took the cake was when I told her I was dating my girlfriend Samantha." I chuckled flashbacks on that night popping up in my head. "She slapped me told me being gay was a sin and that she didn't accept me and that no child of her will be gay. She kicked me out and ever since she has this hatred towards me." "Wow. Isn't there 3 of you." "Yes, it's Morris Megan then me." "Aww how is Megan." "She's good." "Well when I meet your mother Morris and Megan were already born. I guess a little after we broke up, she had you." "Why did you guys break up." "Your mom couldn't face the fact she was in love with a woman. I did everything for and to her your dad didn't. No offense." "Non taken." "Your mom knew your dad was sleeping with men. He offered her plenty of times to have a 3 some with her him and one of his male partners. Your mom always declined. But soon it became too much for her and she needed to separate herself from him. She would always come to me and tell me she's leaving him for me, and we would have a child together and all this fairy tale type she. We even went and had a baby created with both our genes and had the sperm implanted in her. A few months after she came to me telling me it was over and the baby we created died in her stomach. I never heard from her after that day. I was broken hurt and cried for months." "Wow. Did my mom ever tell you how the baby died." "No but 2 years later I saw here in a baby store with a little girl that looked so much like her but had my eyes hair lips nose and ears. She looked like US. She said that your dad and her were still together and they had a baby. The little girl was beautiful." "I remember when she looked up at me with those brown eyes. They melted my heart. She was the most beautiful little girl I had ever seen. But when she told me it wasn't our baby it crushed me. I thought I was going to die right then and there." I looked up at here and she looked at me. A look spread across her face as if she had just figured something out. "Oh my gosh." "What." "You’re that little girl." "What." I asked her to look confused "Moriah. You’re the little girl I seen that day in the store with the brown eyes that melted my heart. They still do." "Are you saying in you and my mother's daughter." "That's what I'm saying." "Lady you are crazy." "You said you came here for answers as to why your mom treats you like she does now but didn't then. You were the piece of me that she got to hold on to for years. You were me when she thought about me. You never died you were here all along. Your mom wanted you to think your dad was your dad so you wouldn't find out the truth." "And what truth would that be." "That you are really mines and hers." I couldn't think straight all this time my mother has been hiding this bug secret from me. My dad wasn't my dad I had 2 mom's. I've never had a father but why did my dad play along with this lie. Maybe my mom tricked him into thinking I was his. So many thoughts ran through my mind. And soon I passed out.
