Chapter XLVI
The car
The cheerful sound of the horn at the bottom of the driveway got them to dash outside. Antonino and Luciano were coming on board of the new car. Brum Brum was with them, sitting beside Antonino. He was showing off his technical expertise giving continuous advice to the driver, still hesitant and fearful to be driving a brand new car.
The car stopped on the front yard and the three of them got off smiling.
-Here it is, do you like it?- Antonino was overjoyed. He drove from Viterbo to the house and now he was dying to show the new purchase to the rest of the family.
-At least get a black car-Giulia said when she had to surrender to the pleading of the rest of the family. She was smiling now, not so much for the car itself but to see Antonino’s elation.
