The news from the radio
The notes of a popular song filled the house. Agnese and Lucia, sitting around the table, hummed as they made dinner. The cabinet of the new radio stood out in the sitting room e it spread the music to the kitchen. It was the latest purchase. Agnese had insisted on buying it and this time Giulia too was immediately convinced. The new purchase had changed their habits and often in the evening they stayed together to listen to the voices of who brought to them news from the world.
