Norah I had been walking for what felt like an hour now, and the lighthouse was nowhere to be seen yet, indicating that I was still too far away from my destination. God, I should have grabbed comfy shoes before sneaking away. I looked at my feet, at the pink flip-flops I had worn that did me no good for any physical activity. My body felt weak because of the lack of a proper diet in the past few days, my head felt heavy, as nausea swept through me. I wasn't going to be able to carry my weakening body along the way, not for too long and I had to make it there as fast as possible, before the sunset.
