Chapter 1:Silly crush

It was mid day June 2nd 2022 the bell rang as Chris an high school student got up from where he was seated in his class to go for lunch. He was walking down the long hall with his earbuds on listening to his favourite song as usual when all of a sudden he crashed into someone "thud!" they both fell to the ground he suddenly came into realization as he immediately said sorry. With his head down, he started picking the books of the person he hit still on his knees he looked up to see the person he crashed into as his gaze met hers he felt his heart beat abnormally "such beauty" he thought to himself as he was staring into her eyes. like a typical romantic movie, Chris and this girl were staring at each other in the eyes but that didn't last for long with the sound of the bell. Chris couldn't speak he was lost in her eyes, "Hi im Charlotte i'm new around here sorry for bumbimg into you I was trying to get to class" silence broke out as Charlotte spoke to Chris. Chris tried to make sure his first introduction wasn't weird at all, as they both got up he said with a straight face "im sorry too I wasn't looking I'm Chris if you need any help about the school you can come to me" as he pointed his class not far from where they stood. She gave him a light smile as she walked past him. immediately she left Chris heaved a heavy sigh as if he had been holding his breath as cold sweats came down his face, he felt nervous for no reason at all he got himself together as he continued walking. "Hey! Chris wait up!" He heard someone shout his name from down the hall as he turned to look he saw Jeremiah his best friend "really you can't be shouting my name like that its embarrassing" Chris said still looking nervous. Jeremiah chuckled as he joined Chris in his walk they soon reached the cafeteria but when Jeremiah looked at Chris he noticed something was off Chris was clearly lost in thoughts and was just smiling "yup you finally lost it chris..." Jeremiah said trying to snap Chris out of his thoughts. But only then did Chris snap out of his thoughts "hehe... I was just thinking of something that happened a while ago" Chris was obviously thinking about Charlotte he couldn't help it. Chris and Jeremiah were sitting down in the cafeteria as Chris suddenly asked "what does it mean when you can't stop thinking about someone". "scoff" Jeremiah almost choked on his food "Chris... are you in love?". It made Chris look at Jeremiah but then he smiled "nah it's not possible" Chris said with a nervous smile "Love huh? what's that about" Chris thought to himself
