“Oh wow,” was all I managed to say. Tobi had led me into a grand ballroom where ten towering pine trees lined the walls, each one exquisitely decorated.
“We’re all eager to celebrate Christmas together. When your packages arrived, I simply couldn’t help myself,” Luna Diana said warmly, linking arms with me as she proudly guided me through the room. Luna Diana led Mariah and me on a tour of the castle, pointing out various shared spaces—the public living and dining areas—and their private counterparts, reserved for family only.
Meanwhile, the men were whisked away by Alpha Victor for drinks and card games. It became quickly apparent that Fullmoon was a particularly old-fashioned pack; we wouldn’t see the men again until dinner.
