*Lily's pov*

This guy must be talking gibberish" "You're twenty one this year and not nine "he said as he stood up and grabbed a mirror at the table and showed me and I saw the grown up version of myself...is this some nightmare I need to wake up from "One last thing , you are pregnant with twins"he said ,this was really too much to digest in ,well seeing that I haven't collapsed that means I have really grown for my brain to be able to carry that... "Who are you?I asked him I needed to know who he was "Your best friend from your senior year in college "... It's one week since I woke up from coma ,and I have really adapted and accepted the fact that I have grown and about to become a mother of two without knowing how, finally got to know the name of the mysterious guy kelvin...he comes to visit me literally all the time ,he spends all his day with me well I guess he would cause he works at my hospital room,he makes sure that I eat very well...no one has come to visit me . I have asked him severally to tell me what happened but his answer anytime I ask him that will be "the doctor said you shouldn't stress your brain cells ,your memory will return with time and stress isn't good for the babies"at a time I even thought he's the father of my kids ,cause his kindness to me was too much .and I don't think my nine years old self will like to keep a male bestfriend but like always he will tell me I will know when I get my memories back .I was really frustrated.... Well he's not here right now ,he stepped out to go get some fruits for me .I can move freely now I got up from my bed I wanted to go use the bathroom... After I was done I stood in front of the mirror as I looked at myself,what is happening is really too much my eyes went to stomach and my hand unintentionally went to my stomach also and I started caressing it... So this is the influence of being a mother... I was about to head out ,when I felt dizzy all of a sudden I held the hands of the bathroom door and darkness took over me . . Opened my eyes to see kelvin in front of me looking all worried ,but the look on my face was surprised look not because he was worried but because his face looks more familiar... Some images are playing in my head,are those my memories...I asked no one In particular I saw many scenes of where me and kelvin will go to school together and come back together.. The next one was when I was crying seems like someone was dead ,I saw the picture and it was my mom time fell and I saw myself on a wedding gown as I was walking down the aisle with my dad... six months later found out my husband was having an affair with his childhood sweetheart and that day was what lead to all this. *Six months ago* Looking at the two lines on the pregnancy test kit, Lily was completely surprised and stunned. She and Davis had only been married for half a year and had s*x with each once , when Davis was drunk. How could she possibly be pregnant now? "Madam, sir is back," a voice suddenly came from outside the bathroom, startling lily. She quickly threw the pregnancy test kit into the trash can like a thief.After regaining her composure, she realized how silly her behavior was. She was davis's legally wedded wife and was carrying his child. There was no need to feel guilty. As she stepped out of the bathroom, lily saw Davis changing his shoes in the entrance. She was about to tell him about her pregnancy when he spoke first. "There's something I want to discuss with you. Davis said and lily just nodded "I remember you saying that you love children, so I want us to have a child. What do you have to say ?davis asked. Lily was taken by surprise ,she was planning on telling him later but seems like he figured it out already"You already know?" she asked.Davis was also surprised. "You know too?" he asked. "Yeah, I just found out," lily replied. She had thought that Davis did not or would want the child, but he had already sensed its existence and was willing to keep it. She felt a warmth in her heart. "'So, you agree to have this child?davis asked. Lily blushed at his gaze and nodded. "We were going to have a child sooner or later. Since this child has a connection with us, we might as well keep it," she said. Davis was relieved and touched. He took her hand and said, "I was worried that you would be unhappy. I promise to teach our child well and make sure that he sees you as his real mother when he grows up."Davis said and lily looked up at him in confusion,when she is already the child's birth mother Lily? "What do you mean by 'treat her like a birth mother'? She is already the child's birth mother." "Don't worry about Andrea I have talked to her and I will give her a sum of money as compensation. When the child is born.." "Wait, I don't understand what you're saying. What does this child have to do with Andrea?"lily asked Lily suddenly realized something was wrong and pulled her hand away from him. "Andrea is? Pregnant? With your child? Lily questioned!"Davis was taken aback and his face turned sour. "Didn't you say you already knew?" Lily felt a chill mixed with anger rising from the soles of her feet, piercing her heart like a needle. From the beginning, lily knew that davis didn't like her. He loved Andrea, his childhood sweetheart and unrequited love. They were said to have been engaged, but they had a falling out and Andrea went abroad. Just as Andrea left, Davis family faced a crisis and the patriarch suffered a stroke. In order to stabilize the company, Davis had to follow his father's arrangements and marry lily. Knowing that he had feelings for someone else, lily didn't expect him to fall in love with her. She just hoped that they could get along and eventually develop some kind of familial bond. But she never expected that just six months into their marriage, Davis would get back together with his childhood sweetheart and even got her pregnant ...she was so annoyed and angry that she took the tea the servant came to serve Davis and threw it on his face.. Davis wiped the tea off his face and his dark pupils revealed a hint of anger. "You can go downstairs first." The housekeeper could only retreat to the kitchen after her master refused her help. Davis then turned to lily and asked, "Since you didn't know about Andrea's pregnancy just now, what did you mean by the child you mentioned?" Although lily was still angry, he knew that with this man's intelligence, it was impossible to hide the fact that she was pregnant.So she decided to be honest. "I'm pregnant." Davis body stiffened. By the way, I suggest you also do a paternity test for Miss Andrea's child, Don't let her raise another man's child for you without your knowledge." But Davis would never know that the reason lily walked so fast was because her tears couldn't help but fall from the corner of her eyes when she turned around. Just like he would never know that she didn't marry him because of her family's arrangement. Yes, she liked Davis for four years, from the age of eighteen to twenty-two. Four years of tossing and turning, day and night thinking, but what she got was today's ridiculous insult. Lily only felt pathetic and ridiculous. How did she fall for such a scumbag who looked so refined and cultured? She looked up and tried to hold back the tears behind her, but her phone suddenly rang. It was an assistant from her father's company. As soon as she answered, she heard the other party's voice choking and intermittent. "Miss lily, I'm Sam Your father's and I just had a car accident on the road, and he...he passed away on the spot." Lily felt as if a bolt from the blue had struck her head.
