They stepped out of the room into the corridor and noticed the building changing around them. Books started placing themselves on shelves in, what looked like, a very old library. Decks and chairs started placing themselves all over the newly opened room accommodated with cubicles fit for a new office. The room took on a bright orange, green, blue and brown color, making the room look so much more alive. Walking down the now new corridor Anisa could see a reception area right at the front close to the big double dark wood doors, completed with receivers and a new laptop with abstract art pieces hanging on the wall behind the desk.
Medusa looked at the newly self renovated floor space. “I must say I do love the new feel to this place. I have always dreamed of a place that captures the most beautiful sunsets and wishing it could stay like that forever. This is close though.” Medusa winked at Anisa. “To be honest I didn’t even know this was possible.” Anisa said in awe. “I told you before; this place will move and obey any wishes from the person it belongs to.” Luke said as he stepped out of the shadows with the rest of the wolf pack.
“Luke! I’m so glad to see you are unharmed. Lucian? My dear boy, are you alright?” Anisa rapped her arms around Lucian and Luke, bringing them into a mighty hug. “Yeah mom, I’m good. We aren’t the ones who had a war just now. How are you mom?” Lucian asked before Luke could ask. He looked at Anisa, holding her at arm’s length, giving her a quick once over. “I’m fine, no more minor bruises as you both can see.” Anisa gestured towards her body.
Luke and Lucian nodded and hugged Anisa again for good measure before letting go and stepping back. “Luke? What did you mean by ‘obey any wishes from the person it belongs to’?” Anisa asked. “My love this place belongs to you now. You have defeated the darkness that hung over this place by ridding this place of those monsters.” Luke said a bit shocked. “I did not do that along my love. Medusa and I both got rid of the creatures.” Anisa said and grabbed Medusa’s hand.
“That explains the sudden change in the building. The two of you combined brought peace to this place.” Luke said and bowed before Anisa and Medusa. “Please do not give me such praise. I do not deserve such praise.”Medusa said and lowered her head. “You deserve to be praised Medusa. You did destroy the vampires that caused my family harm for so many years. We are in your debt even if you do not wish to hear it.” Luke said. His golden-brown eyes flashing in the little light from the stained windows.
“I have an idea…”Anisa said with a brilliant smile on her face. “Yes?” Medusa and Luke asked in unison. They looked at each other and back at Anisa. Anisa laughed and they both joined in on the laughter. “I think Medusa and I can run this business together and continue the research of rare and valuable items still lost in the world…” Anisa said and looked at both Luke and Medusa. “I would love to. I have one request” Medusa said. “Anything.” Anisa said without skipping a beat. “I would like to change my name to Mages….for the sake of the humans.” Medusa added quickly.

Luke and Anisa chuckled but they agreed. Anisa knew the real reason Medusa wanted this change. Her given name had only caused her great pain, and she too wanted to stay hidden from the gods, for now at least. They have agreed to stay in human form for the sake of the business. They also agreed that Anisa would be called ‘Anne’ for the safety of her wolf pack. The word of ‘the warrior of the gods’ has already reached other vampire and werewolf clans. It would not be long before they seek revenge for the fallen vampires and other creatures that perished in the mini war which no human has heard of even though it happened right under their noses.
Anisa sometimes wonder what the reason was for her to walk right into the middle of a vampire and werewolf war for starters. She knew her pack was closely following the cold ones to take revenge, but something still didn’t make completely sense. Medusa did say Victor was one of the vampires that died by her hand but for some reason she could still feel his presence in the building. Luke claimed to have seen the body of the vampire and burned the remains to prevent him from ever coming back.
Is it possible for a deceased vampire to haunt the living? Or worse, to haunt a god? Is that even possible? Too many things did not add up and Anisa was focused on finding out the truth, even if it meant opening up the underworld right under Hades’ nose. Anisa would soon have her answers.

Bellator found himself woken up by the feeling of dread and death. He knew something was wrong. He could feel the pain of his father and he knew he had to help the bustard, even if he never met him; he was still Bellator’s blood.
