Teacher

Violet's POV Sounds like Jee is very sheltered for some reason. I will figure it out soon. "It's getting late and the bigger sun will be coming down soon. I can start a bigger fire in the chiefs' circle and teach the males how to make them. Every male needs to know how to make them safely there first before trying anywhere else. That way the little suns won't spread and cause trouble in the fields." Jee says. "Wait! Jee, would you like me to teach them how to make baskets? That way we can fill them up with water next to the fires. If anything, they can throw the water on the fires if it looks like it may spread or if it is out of control." I said back to Jee, concerned "You've already done so much today. Are you sure you haven't had enough?" he asks, concerned "I am fine. This gives me something to do. And plus, I need you to finish fast so you can help me with something back home." I said to him. I need a bath or something for a bath and where to go to the bathroom. Plus, these clothes are also going to be a project for me. "Jee, she says she needs you to come home!" the boys yelled at him, teasingly. Ha ha they are so funny. I didn't even think of that. I was just thinking of how to get by tonight hygiene wise. "That's fine Violet, he won't be there for long. We won't keep him behind. Can you teach a few of the other men how to make the baskets you were talking about earlier?" she asks. "Yes of course!" I said to her "Why should she?" Jee says aggressively. "You don't know how, so I must. How about I teach them where you are?" I said to him. He looks pleased and nods. "That's fine, let's do that. Is what you are cooking done?" he asks curiously. "Yes it should be. Can you help me take it out?" I asked Jee. He goes towards the fire and uses two logs to take them out. He had already started the process of tongs. Very smart indeed he is. "Where should I put it?" he asks. "On the coconut bowl" I said back to him. I go towards the bowl and use the twig to remove the leaves from the fish. Of course, I see Jee flinch but he needs to know I will be fine. I wash a few leaves and use them as plates and place some fish in each one and give one to each person. "This is extraordinary, Violet! Truly it is!" she said to me, pleased. "Thank you. I have other ideas to try too, but for now this will do." I said back to her. "Thank you for letting us try this. I know that we will all benefit from this." she smiles at me. "Since we have plans after, let's go over and teach everyone what we know now. That way we can finish up what we need here at home before we celebrate." Jee says to me and waits for me to go down the ladder. "Okay! Can you bring a few of the things we gathered? We can also bring whatever fish we have left." I said to Jee. "No way! That's your fish. You don't need to share the rest with others." Jee says back to me, upset. "It's okay Jee, I want to share it with those I can so that we can teach them tomorrow how to do all of this." I said back to him. "Fine, if that is what you want, we can. I will help too." he says back to said. Momentss Later* "Wow, she is so beautiful. I wonder which tribe she came from?" I heard a few males say this about me while we walked toward the chiefs' circle. I can see Jee flinching every time he hears this. I wonder what may have happened when it comes to Jee and his insecurities. "Violet, we will do everything here. Everyone, this is Violet. She is going to teach a few men here how to weave baskets and I am going to teach everyone how to keep little suns." Jee says to everyone. "So my boys were right, we are now able to control little suns." A beautiful woman says while coming near the circle. This female has a beautiful hourglass-shaped body. Her hair is so long that it barely misses the floor. Bright red and yellow, glossy looking hair. It reminds me of the sun. "Violet, this is my mom Clarise." Jan says to me. "Nice to meet you. "I said back to her. "All the pleasure. Us females have a hard time seeing at night, so when they came barging in saying there's a female who can help with us, seeing at night I had to come and check it out." she says back to me, smiling. "Glad you came. I know Jee doesn't like me to do much, but weaving these baskets can make up for time and they are so fun for me to do. Would you like to learn as well?" I asked her. "We want to learn too?" I saw 3 other women chime in "Why would you want to?" asked one of the males to the females. "Making these baskets is nothing of labor and, like she said it can be enjoyable. I hate just staying at home and watching the kids." I saw one of the females pout "Yeah, this will give me something to do." another female says to her male with puppy eyes. They look apologetically back at me and I nod with approval. "Perfect! I can show you guys how!" I said to a group of them. Jee was able to teach all the males in the tribe how to make fires. It took them a while to get the spark started but eventually they were able to create a big fire in the chief circle and a few fires in the middle rows of all the tree houses. I was able to show them how to make torches with leaves and we used the coconut husks to maintain the height of the torch flames. Coconuts here are strong enough to be pretty much be a substitute for this world's metal.
