16 At promptly 7pm on Tuesday, Gabriel was waiting outside her flat. Lisa grabbed her handbag, stuffed her phone and keys inside and pulled on her trainers. She hurried out the door and down the broken path. As she neared the sleek car, she saw Gabriel smiling her way, and her stomach somersaulted. He had the window wound down, she could hear music playing, a soft beat and a female vocalist. Her hands found the door handle, and she slid onto the cool leather seat. “Hi,” he greeted warmly. “Hi,” she beamed. “Where do you keep your car?” He enquired, looking puzzled. “Oh, there’s parking around the back of the flats,” she replied.
