I thought I would get some washing done as I wait for Scott to come over.. It's Saturday night I don't think he would want us to go party again right.. I assured my self.

As I hear the message notification. I walk over to get my phone just as I am about to read it I hear a voice coming from my front door.. "Liam open" I hear Scott's voice

I place my phone on the kitchen table and run to the door to answer.. My jaw drops in question when I see Scott's face it's purple and blue. I asked him

What!! Happened to you?

"I will tell you" he says sounding so calm as he walks past me heading inside.

I walk behind him and a I let him sit on what almost looks like a couch...

He seats down and hold his head between his arms..

I sit next to him and I ask him again what happened

He looks at me like he is scared of something then I ask my self if something bad happened to him

and he is scared to tell me I assure him am here for him. Scott's has been their for me when I had no friend and when I needed a person to lean...

yeah i respond not know what he will say next..

"he got us drugs to sell at club the other but he only told me it was his".. He stalled and look at me to see my reactions

And honestly I wasn't that bit surprised because he used to do the same thing when we worked at the diner.. But this time it felt he was in trouble. I looked at him and asked.

Then what happened??

"apparently Austin took the drugs from this guy called Steve he has a gang called the elpacas. And we lost the drug money.. Austin is AWOL and Steve is the one that did this to me. He came and threatened to kill me if I didn't have his money by Monday".

My face turned pale from what I heard I thought I was dreaming. He said that in one breath

and turned to me. I didn't know what to say I was shocked.. Drugs.. Gang... And to be killed.. thats all that kept playing in my mind.. I didnt know I was zoning out until I heard Scott's calling my name..

"Liam! Are you okay am really sorry I didn't wanna put all this on you but I had no one else." he says sounding desperate

No it's okay I was a bit surprised by all that but is there any way I can be of help tell me and don't hesitate please.

I say that looking at him and waiting for his answer.. Honestly I want to help him even if he doesn't want that..

"am really sorry Liam" he says looking very sympathetic

No don't be " I exclaim" I know you would help me and I want you to count on me.. Please tell me how much money you need..

"I need 25k I know it's a huge amount and I won't expect you to give me all but any amount you give me its good enough" he sighs

Okay can we meet tomorrow I will give you the money all of it. I say that with a smile on my face.. Looks likes am gonna have to take that job after all..

And anyway I have a job interview on Monday. I will tell you the details when I meet my employer so don't ask what it is unless I get the job..

" okay I won't ask but don't keep me waiting to long and another thing I can I sleep here so long am scared steve and his guys might show up"

I woke up to the sound of Scott raffling through my kitchen

I think he is looking for something to eat they is no food in the kitchen this poor guy is in for a surprise..

"Morning Scott". "mornings bro am kinda hungry but you don't no food in this fridge"

"yeah I normally bring take out I can't cook you know that"

a hearing rumbling noise coming from Scott's stomach before I say anything mine does the same it's like they qued each other..

"listen am going to the store to buy some food want anything"......

"I want some cheese and ham and bread please"

I left to walk to the store that was few blocks from my place it was already 10am I woke up late today and it's Sunday I got no plans I just need to sort out Scott...

On my way back I went to the atm to with draw some cash about 10grand for Scott I have the rest at home.. I know I should not keep that kinda money home but it's safe keep anything can happen...

I entered the house to find Scott cleaning the apartment I was surprised.. "bro what you doing"

"I needed to keep myself busy this helps when am hungry did you bring the food". "yeah I did I even bought coffee and doughnuts just incase"

"yesss!! Give me those"

I handed him the coffee and doughnuts and put the ham cheese and eggs in the fridge incase he wants to make it later.. I left him to enjoy himself while I went in the room to take out the rest of the money..

"Scott"..... "yes"......

"I have all the money ready when you finish eating go and get rid of Steve for good please"

"omg bro thanks you are a life saver I will pay you back I promise"

" I told you I don't want you to" he hugged me soo tight that I started coughing I screamed for him to let me goo

"am sorry.. am just so happy I couldn't sleep last night..

He left around 2 he took a shower and he called those guys and told them he was gonna pay...
