My Housemate

After a couple of months. At J&H Ent. Friday morning.

Tiffany was walking as she passed the hallway with her employees, greeting her and taking bows. She looked like serious and not in the mood, she's heading to the meeting room. She knows that Taeyeon wouldn't be around because the petite woman has recording session.

Tiffany entered the meeting room. All needed staff was already there. She took her seat in the middle of the long table, in front of a big screen and a projector. She opened the folder and scanned the reports. She sighed. Her staff was on their thrill.

"The company's rate fell on 2% because of the issues of some idols. Hmm. Maybe because of the papparazzis right?" calmly said

Some staff nodded.

"THEN DO SOME ACTION ABOUT IT!" The staff was shocked and nervous. The witch was out. Tiffany stood up, she threw the folder. "THE GY ENTERTAINMENT WAS NEAR IN OUR RATE, DON'T LET THEM PASS OUR CONPANY!"

"Madam, b-but the gap between our company and them was 7%, I think-" Some staff said

"IF WE WILL ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN, EVERY YEAR THE GAP WILL BECOME LOWER UNTIL THEY SURPASS US!"

The door opened, someone will enter the temporary witch's cave. Tiffany noticed the door opened slowly.

"AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO MESS OUR MEETING? NO ONE'S ALLOWED TO ENTER THIS ROOM WHEN THE MEETING IS ON! HOW DARE YOU?" she growled

The person who was about to enter the room was Taeyeon, she's holding a box of cake. She was dumbfounded, a bit jaw dropped on what she heard from Tiffany. She was hurt by those words. She just want to close the door and ran out.

Tiffany was shocked when she saw Taeyeon. She didn't mean to say it. She gulped and so guilty.

"I-I'm sorry." Taeyeon's voice cracked. Taeyeon bowed and leave the room.

"Oh my gosh. No, Tae."

The staff paused and stared at Tiffany's reaction. They saw the witch has already left, and they saw the soft side of Tiffany with teary eyes.

"No no" Tiffany mumbled. She rushed out to the room to chase Taeyeon. She saw Taeyeon walking fast. "Taeyeon!" she shouted but the petite woman didn't bother to look at her. "Ya!"

She ran towards Taeyeon and chased after her. Holding Taeyeon's arm the box of cake fell on the floor and Taeyeon seems to fight.

"Let go of me ms. Hwang!" she's crying

"No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean that." in concerned tone

Tiffany hugged Taeyeon tightly.

Taeyeon sniffed "I'm sorry I made you mad. If you don't want me around here. I will just go."

"No, no! You didn't understand Tae. I'm sorry. Please, don't cry." she's really felt bad. She's mad at herself.

"Are you mad at me? I just want to give you the cake I baked this morning before I go to the recording session. And I just want to see you, I'm sorry" still crying.

"Really?" She faced Taeyeon and wiped the petite woman's tears. "Don't be sorry, I appreciate it Tae. I'm the one who supposed to say sorry for my behavior in the meeting room. I'm really sorry, I'm just sad."

"Sad? Why you're sad?" dorky looked.

"B-because I know, I-I thought you wouldn't be around t-today. And... you have s-school tomorrow. I-I thought I wouldn't able to see you for a couple of d-days. That's w-why I'm not in the mood." said stuttering

"Chincha? (Really?) or you just saying that to make me feel better?"

"Yes, just to make you feel better" she chuckled.

Taeyeon pouted.

"Omo- you're so cute like a baby" she pinched Taeyeon's cheeks. "So, you're not mad TaeTae?"

Taeyeon shook her head.

Tiffany hugged Taeyeon again "Thank you Taeyeon ah, thank you also for the cake"

"You're welcome, um, Pani ah?"

"Hmm?" she looked at Taeyeon, her hands leaning on petite's shoulders.

"You looked scary a while ago. You didn't think what you say. Your subordinates are afraid to you. It's not you. Please don't be like that, you're not thinking straight" said in sweet voice

"Okay Tae" she smiled

"Promise me?"

" I promise" she eye smiled.

"You are better than this Pani-ah, try to control your emotion" Taeyeon said in her mind.

TAEYEON ALREADY LEFT. TIFFANY WAS BACK IN THE MEETING ROOM, SHE BROUGHT THE CAKE MADE BY TAEYEON. SHE'S BACK IN HER SEAT. THE STAFF WAS NERVOUS AND JUST SHUT THEIR MOUTHS.

"So where were we? Ah, the rating right? It's okay as long as we're still number one" sweet toned and Tiffany gave them eye smile

The staff was amazed. Suddenly, her mood was good after talking to Taeyeon. They know she's not a bipolar(Isn't she? Keke). Taeyeon was angel fell from the sky, they thought. She can just change the mood of the witch, though she's not aware of it. (Cuz the witch comes when she's not around)

"We're number one, good job everyone. Fighting!" Tiffany still smiling

She's really in the mood now. She noticed that her staff was still in their silence.

"Fighting?" gave her eye smile

The staff was happy, they are shouting and clapping their hands. The witch was gone!

"Are we going to eat the cake madam?" some guy staff asked

From her eye smile to straight face "No, not the cake" sternly said

The staff paused and some of then gulped, they're in tension seeing Tiffany's unfriendly face.

"But let's have lunch instead, my treat!" giving her eye smile again

The staff was sighed in relief. And they are happy.

Lunch break.

Jessica noticed that Yuri was quiet since the morning she came up to the office. She didn't say a thing. She looked grim and humorless unlike her usual action. Yuri has her own table in Jessica's office, she's busy typing in her computer. It bothered Jessica until Yuri finally speak.

"It's lunch break right?" Yuri stood up.

"Yes"

"Can I go now? Secretary Seo said that she'll treat me lunch today." she grabbed her bag and walked near to door

"Okay whatever"

Yuri just smiled a little and she look dejected. And leave the room. Jessica noticed it but she's irritated because of Yuri's different behavior.

"I don't care if Secretary Seo offered you free lunch. I can treat you too" she mumbled. "What's wrong with her? She looked awful today. Aishh!!"

She stoop up and leave her room. As she opened the door, she saw Yuri and SeoHyun hugging each other. She jolted with eye opened. She's shocked. Her heart pumped faster and faster. She don't like what she's seeing. She slowly back to her office and closed the door gently to avoid making sounds. She leaned on the door.

"Are they together now?" she shed tears

After lunch. Restaurant near in the building of J&HEnt.

Tiffany had her lunch with her team, treating them. The sweet Tiffany was back. Her team was happy for her. Finally, she moved on to her love life. Though she's single, she's happy with her friend Taeyeon.

Tiffany was walking with her team to exit the restaurant as she saw a familiar face. 'American looked' guy with a woman, she didn't see the woman, only its hair and back. The guy was her ex-boyfriend named Nickhun. He's dating other woman now and it's rumor spread wide.(Well, it's true and not just rumor)

Tiffany stopped walking, her subordinates noticed her and where she's looking at. Nickhun's table. The guy glanced at Tiffany and just smirked. Tiffany looked angry as she rushed out to the restaurant.

"We're doomed" one of her staff said.

At Jessica's office.

Jessica was wearing her mask 'Icy looked' on her face. Yuri didn't look at her and just go with her table and open her computer.

"How dare you not to look at me Yuri?"

The tan started to type again. Focus and stern.

Jessica sighed. She can't handle the situation anymore, she flinty stared at Yuri.

"Can you minimize the sound of your clicking manner in the keyboard?" said irritably

"Okay, I'm sorry" Yuri was shaking for some reason.

"Okay? Sorry? What's wrong with you today?" she slapped her hand to the table and stood up.

Yuri didn't say a thing but her nails marked on her palm trying to control her emotions. Here comes again. The Icy Princess will start a fight. What she did wrong? Why Jessica is acting like that?

"Oh! And what's with the romantic scene on lunch break?"

Yuri was puzzled but she's trying to be serious.

"You know, I don't need a secretary who's just flirting around my office!" she shouted "I think you're not doing your job anymore? Should I give you offense? Or just fire you?"

"I-I didn't do anything Jess. Why you're instantly mad at me?"

"You said it, you didn't do anything. You're not doing your job! If you can't handle your flirty behavior here... just quit" the last two words said in muttered.

"Fine. I've had enough!" Yuri stood up

"Fine? Now she's mad at me? Huh!" Jessica said in mind

"You're always like this. You say what you want without thinking that you might hurt the feeling of others." having shallow tears "I'm really upset today Jess! I know you can see it but you didn't bother to ask why and instead you just gave me hard time. I know, you don't like me much that's why you act like this. You treat me like s**t! But please can you pretend sometimes that you care? I thought we're at least friends." voice cracked.

Jessica's culpable because of her actions but every time her mind recall the scene where Yuri and Seo hugging each other very tight, her blood boiled. "Yes. I don't even like you now. And don't ask for it 'cuz I will not give you any. I regret that I allowed you to touch me and we have s*x!" said dispassionately

Yuri bowed her head. She grasped her bag and cellphone on the table.

"I know, I feel it. You're uncomfortable when you see me. I'll make it up to you. Thank you for the job but I'll quit. Don't pity me, anymore." her tears was coming out to her cheeks down to her chin

"Then leave" said coldly as ice

Yuri bowed and leave her. Jessica just leaned back to her seat and her fingers in her temple.

Around 4 pm, still in the company.

Tiffany leave earlier and go home. She's not feeling well. Ever since they're back from the restaurant.

Taeyeon arrived in J&HEnt. Her recording session was done. She didn't expected that Tiffany will go home early. Yuri was not around too. She decided to go in Jessica's office to ask.

"So where's Yuri?"

"I don't know. I'm not lost and found officer to be asked where's lost"

"Is she lost?"

"I don't know! Why you're asking me? She's being weird today so I gave her what she deserved"

"You gave her flowers?" looked dorky

"W-what? Why should I do that?"

"For her parents? Hm... Today is their death anniversary."

Jessica frost when she heard Taeyeon ' ...death anniversary' it keeps echoing in her mind.

"I thought she's just quiet all the time" Taeyeon pouted briefly "Though it's long time ago, 12 years in exact. It's still hard for her. She missed her parents so much. That's why I went here 'cuz I thought she's still working, she needs someone to accompany her."

"The hug... Maybe Seo was comforting her. I'm so stupid! I made her cry again. Krystal's right, I don't deserved her because I'm just a selfish dumb head."

Taeyeon and Jessica went to Yuri's parents tomb. They bought flowers too but there are flowers already. Maybe Yuri went there. Jessica was hoping to see Yuri there but the tan already left. They were about to leave the cemetery. Jessica saw Taeyeon keep phoning someone. But the other line didn't pick it up. Taeyeon looks worried.

"Is that Tiffany?" Jessica asked

Taeyeon put her phone in her pocket. "Yes"

"Some staff said that she's not feeling well. Maybe you should go to her house."

"But I never been there before"

"I can give you directions, please take care of her"

"Err... o-okay"

They go in their separate ways. Taeyeon got her car, actually it was company car. She's heading her way to Tiffany house while Jessica was no where place to go. She's just driving. Out of her mind.

6pm. The dark was almost in the sky.

While driving, Jessica keep thinking what Yuri said to her.

"I'm really upset today Jess! I know you can see it but you didn't bother to ask why and instead you just gave me hard time. I know, you don't like me much that's why you act like that. You treat me like s**t! But please can you pretend sometimes that you care? I thought we're at least friends."

"Where are you Yuri? Should I go to your house and apologize?"

On her right side, the stop light turned red. She stopped in front of a bus stop. She toured her eyes as she saw a tan woman sitting on the bus stop alone. Yes! It's Yuri. But wait. She has many stuffs with her. Luggage and backpacks. The tan was gawking, staring at no where. Pale and downcast.

Jessica went out to her car and draw near to Yuri. Yuri doesn't seem to notice her.

"Ya"

"....."

"Kwon Yuri!" she shouted

Yuri back to her consciousness. She saw Jessica, she looks stunned but stood up and grabbed her things. She walked away to avoid Jessica but the latter, followed her.

"Ya, stop! Why you're here? And I guess you brought all your things. Why didn't you bring your house too?" she teased. She's happy to see Yuri.

Yuri stopped and glared at her.

"Are you kicked out or something to your house Yuri?"

"I don't have a house" looked away

"So where you live? Don't tell me you're homeless"

"I have my apartment. But not now. I've been outcast because I didn't pay almost three months."

"What?? You have your salaries, where did you spend it? Don't tell me you're dating"

"Dating? No! Well if I'll go to a date, I'm not the one who's paying" cockily said.

"Very cocky"

"I spent all my money to school. I mean, to my tuition fees. Why you're asking? Don't bother me now!" Yuri looked gloomy

"No place to go?" Jessica asked

"....."

"Come on"

"Huh?"

"Go inside the car. Let's go to my place" Jessica turned back to her car

"B-but-"

"Come on in!" she commanded

"To her place? What? Am I dreaming?" Yuri said in mind

"Ya! Yuri you're spacing out! I said get in!" she growled

Yuri was in panic and get in the car. Jessica just smiled.

They arrived in Jessica's place. She have her own house. It's big for her, living alone. It has second floor. Yuri was amazed by the house. It's wealthy, obviously for rich people. The house was modern too.

"This is your house?" Yuri asked

Jessica nodded. Yuri just jaw dropped.

"Why you brought me here?" no idea about Jessica's intention.

"You're not stupid right? You have no place to stay. You should figure it out by now." She opened the gate and get in

"Wait, is she-no, no! Hmm.. She's offering me her place to stay? My housemate?" said to herself

Jessica's head popped out at the gate "Ya, bring your things out in the car and get in here!"

Yuri smiled "Ah now I know... As I always thought, you really like me, do you?" said teasingly

"Huh! In your dreams!" Jessica's head pulled back "Palli! Get in or you'll sleep there outside! I'll lock the gate now!" she shouted

"Okay okay, wait!" Yuri was rushed taking her stuffs in the car

Jessica looked after her, and she just smile.
