I watched as Indigo fell to the floor and as the blood spread on his clothes. Why did he do that? Why did he just stab himself? Why take his life when the person responsible for the death of his lover is right in front of him?
Max came up to Indigo, pressing down on the wound to keep the blood from coming out. “Go down and tell everyone to come here,” Max ordered.
“If they see this, they will think that we killed them,” I said. A lot of people judge books by their covers and those people include my schoolmates.
“Did you kill Lily?” He asked, looking straight into my eye.
“No,” I answered.
“Then you have nothing to worry about. Everyone will understand the situation,” he said and I followed what he said.
“Oh my gosh, did you kill them?” This is the first thing I heard them say as they saw the room, some of them stayed silent but I know that they think that I did it.
“Understand my ass,” I whispered in which no one heard.
“We need to get Indigo to a hospital,” Max stated but no one seemed to listen to him. “Did anyone hear him?” Mikaela said when she approached Max who was kneeling on the floor, still trying to stop the bleeding.
“How? We don’t have any kind of transportation,” Joana answered, she’s mean I think she got it from Sandy. Joana and her friends just walk around the school insulting people, even those that they don’t know. She once insulted Cain during ‘Bring Your Father to School Day’ just because his father is a farmer.
Which is really mean especially because, Cain’s family is a huge supplier of rice to our town. I wonder what she’ll say if she didn’t get to eat anything.
“And we don’t have any signal,” Bobby said while looking at his phone. He’s the type of person who’s always on his phone and is also Joana’s twin. Once, his friend fell into the fountain in school, instead of asking if he’s okay, he asked if his phone was still working.
“You haven’t answered my question,” Polly said, her face and name might seem nice but her attitude isn’t. She once slapped Joana just because of a rumor that she was cheating with her boyfriend although it did turn out to be true and Joana’s attitude is really bad but why so violent?
“Indigo isn’t dead yet,” Matthew said.
“That doesn’t answer my question,” Polly stated.
“I didn’t kill Lily,” Max answered. He doesn’t believe me. He thinks that I killed her.
“Why don’t you just remove the glass on his chest?” Alina suggested. She’s beautiful but she isn’t as intelligent as the others. She just takes a long time to understand things and has a different way of learning.
“He’ll die if we do that,” Harvey said. He may be a bully but he uses his brain.
“What happened though? How did everything lead to this?” Cain asked, I didn’t even notice him there.
“Lily was already dead when I got to the room,” Max explained.
“Come to think of it, she never answered my question,” Polly stated.
“So? Tell us what happened?” Wendy asked, the class vice president. She’s both disciplined and intelligent.
They all looked at me, curious of what I’m about to say, “I did it. I killed her.”
