"Happy Birthday Pumpkin" her father said

"Did you bake it yourself?" Abby said

"Yeah, a little rusty but it's good" her father said.

It was only her father and the kids for her birthday, Gloria and her parents went on a vacation that her father won in a raffle at work, Helena and Gloria help here and their but mostly it's always herself or father but he started taking overtime since the kids were getting bigger, they are almost finish paying off the suburban, Abby didn't tell her father but she got a side job tutoring students for extra cash.

"So I went to put money in the bank the other day" her father said.

Abby stop cutting the cake a bit then continued.

"And?" Abby said. 

"Last I check we were at nine grand now we are magically at 11grand" her father said.

"That is weird" Abby said

She place a cake down for him then for herself.

"Abby you know you don't have to work, just school and kids that's what we agreed on. Look at you, you lost a lot of weight, you have dark circles under your eye" her father said.

"It's just tutoring besides it's going to the rainy day fund" Abby said

"Abby, you need to cut back and think about your health" her father said

"Fine, I will take the tutoring off, and add more classes" Abby said

"Okay, don't worry about the money. Let me worry about it" her father said.

Abby nodded and took a bite of the cake.

"oh my god! Dad! this is good" Abby said

"Still got it" her dad said. 

They finished up the cake, as Abby cleaned up the kids were now six months they call roll around and are health, Abby places them in the play pin as she grabs her laptop it was now one of those months.

"Okay so, we have 11,359.80 in the rainy day funds, the car payment needs about 2,120.00 left, the mortgage is about 32,862.00 to pay off since we put down 5,472.57 for the year and half we don't need to worry about that" Abby said

"And I was able to do the one year insurance for the car which was 2,547.00. Also we finally finish paying the hospital bill and now cable and phone is the only thing that is past due but I called them and they were able to extend it to the end of this month" her father said.

"I wish you could let me keep tutoring they pay for the internet for me" Abby said

"It's fine we can buy our own the fastest one and one with lots of gigabits since you will be taking on more classes but just don't stress yourself out" her father said.

"I won't and how will we pay for the internet, we can just dip into the rainy day funds" Abby said.

"No, I doing double shifts now and place myself on call. So don't worry about that" her father said.

"Okay, so just the cable and phone bill is due and everything else we have to worry until my next birthday" Abby said.

"Yes, how many scholarships did you apply for this semester" her father said.

"About five, most of them are two of them are three grand while the other three is two grand" Abby said.

"How's your grade" her father said.

"Good, still above 4.5 GPA. I will aim for the dean's list or the dean's scholar ship I heard it's up to ten grand this year" Abby said

"What's the GPA for that?" her father asked

"5.0 I just need five more points, and I will talk with my guidance councilor to add more classes and see if I can do it online" Abby said.

"Okay tell me what she says and we can discuss it" her father said

"I will" Abby said.

By night time Abby showered and went into bed, the boys still woke up early but she had gotten use to it now but she still lacking sleep, only time she gets the full rest is when her father suggested the one day in the hotel which help her once a month. Abby woke up to crying, she sigh out getting up but what was different this time was it was Maria crying, Abby went in and felt that she was burning up. Abby picked Maria up and went to her room grab the keys and purse and some shoes with Maria's dipper bag, and went to knock on her father room door.

"Pumpkin?" he said

"Maria is running a fever, watch the boys, I'm taking her to the hospital" she said

"Okay call me on updates" he said

Abby nodded her head, she then went downstairs she decided to start leaving the kids car seat downstairs easy for her, once in the car Abby drove to the hospital. 

-Time Skip-

"Yeah they said it's a fever, and gave me some medicine for her to take every four to three hour and to check her temperature around those hours as well" Abby said.

"Good, the boys don't show any signs so it's best to keep them apart so she won't effect them" her father said.

"Okay, I am pulling up" Abby said

Abby hung up the phone with a now sleeping Maria and took her to her room.

"I ordered some Vicks machine two just in case, it should be here by noon" her father said.

"Okay why don't you go to work, I'll call in for school and when she get's worst I'll call you to come back" Abby said

"Okay" her father said

Abby went back to Maria's room, and did what the doctor told her to do, she wipe her body down and changed her clothes. Her father left for work by after noon the package came she set it up in Maria's room. Later that evening the other two boys caught the fever as well, once her father came back she took them to the hospital as well.
