“HERA?!”
“Hi, Percy!” Hera squealed, jumping to her feet and lunging straight at him.
Her head barely reached his chest as she buried her face in his shirt, snuggling into him like a young pup clinging to a parent. Poseidon sighed, closing his eyes as a wave of emotion hit him. He hadn’t felt a hug from his sister since the day he left his former pack, and having her standing right in front of him felt completely surreal. As stunned and bewildered as he was by her sudden—and incredibly bizarre—arrival, he couldn’t bring himself to be mad.
Slowly, the tension left his shoulders. He wrapped his arms tightly around her, resting his chin on top of her head.
