Chapter 25
By the time the moon hung high in the night sky, pack members were rolling back into the territory one by one as the festivities wound down.
Over at Poseidon and Candy’s house, the couple was busy helping Hera get settled into her new environment.
“So, this is your room,” Candy said, pushing open the door to the guest room.
Hera’s brows furrowed in a brief, involuntary frown. It was considerably smaller than her bedroom back at her former pack’s estate, but she caught herself quickly; she wasn’t about to complain after everything.
“I know it’s on the smaller side,” Candy added, catching the look, “but it’s entirely yours. Plus, you actually have the whole second floor to yourself.”
Hera’s expression brightened at that. “What about you and my brother?”
