“Nice to meet you all. I’ve heard a lot about you.” Hank smiled cheerfully and nodded at each of us while he placed a big spoonful of gravy on his mashed potatoes. “Funny, I haven’t heard anything about you,” I pointed out and leaned back in my chair and stared. I didn’t like surprises. “Oh tell us, how did you meet?” Lily shot me a warning look, and smiled at Hank. “We actually met at that paint class I went to a couple weeks ago. As a matter of fact, he was the teacher,” she informed us, smiling. “Wow, that’s awesome! So, Hank, you’re an artist?” Lily asked, sounding impressed. “Yes, part-time.
