Megan was one of those women who liked to think she was friends with everybody, but this was only because she liked to get dirt on anyone who would share it and spread it to anyone breathing. She had the ability to be nice and pleasant when she wanted to be, but then gossip or say terrible things in the same breath. Megan always meant trouble, and Jane and Meredith always made sure to be very vague and only talk about simple things when she was around just in case she was looking to spread a good rumor.
“It sure does,” Jane replied.
“Have any idea what it’s about?” Meredith interjected. Jane loved Meredith, but Meredith loved gossip just as much as the next person. But Meredith simply liked to be in “the know,” and wasn’t nearly as vile as Megan and certainly didn’t spread gossip around.
