The next day I woke up and went through my normal routine. When I was done and ready, I walked downstairs to eat breakfast, where Maria told me that Jasper had not returned from yesterday and that he would probably go straight to the office. And that had happened a few times before. Maria told me not to wait for him and that a ride had been arranged for me that will drop me to the office.
I just nodded my head and ate my dinner without any comment about the situation,, but I knew what had happened.
