A Ruined Wedding

Chapter 1

A RUINED WEDDING

Juliana Moris felt her palms sweaty as she took in deep breaths waiting for her Mom to come,

Her face was covered in makeup, something she wasn't always familiar with,

She checked her mascara, fearing what would become of her if she cried,

She quickly grabbed some tissue and stocked it in her b*a before letting out another sign. Just then, the door opened, and her Mom peeped through,

“Are you okay?” her mom asked. She nodded with a smile, she was okay and happy. However, all those emotions were crowded by the bad feeling she had, she had learned long ago to not avoid her gut feeling as it had been pretty accurate in the past,

“Honey…” Her mom walked into the room holding her hands in hers

“What's wrong?” She asked with a soft voice. Juliana was quiet for a moment.

“Something bad is going to happen today, I can feel it . I'm scared whatever is going to happen will ruin my special day”. Her Mom gave her a kiss on the forehead.

“Don't worry honey, nothing will happen, it must be the baby giving you anxiety”. She assured her,

Juliana’s eyes lingered around her visible belly through the reflection. At 6 months, her belly was already visible. She touched it softly as a small smile covered her face,

“What are you both still doing? It's time for entrance”. Juliana was dragged out of her thoughts when she heard her Dad say this. He was standing in the doorway dressed in a black suit,

“Are you okay honey?” He asked, moving inside the room,

“Yes. I'm fine”, Juliana assured him. Perhaps his mom was right. The baby was making her anxious,

“Let's go, your groom is waiting”. Juliana and her parents made their way to the hall, once where she let out a long deep breath just as the music began,

‘Everything will be alright’ she assured herself, deciding to ignore her gut feeling. The first thing Juilana noticed once she entered the hall was her groom at the altar, Steven. The love of her life, there he was standing waiting for her with a huge smile on his face,

One look at him, and she was already feeling calm as she walked towards him until she was standing before him. Her parents went back to their seat while Steve held her hand in his and they both faced the priest. The wedding began. The whole room was quiet as the Priest quoted from the bible,

The priest soon told them to read out their vows. Juliana was first to go, but before she finished, a loud gunshot shot was heard.

What appeared next felt like something from a horror movie,

About 10 men, all dressed in black and armed, walked into the hall,

People were suddenly screaming and panicking as they moved around. A tall man dressed in a casual suit shot at the roof of the hall room. The screams intensified.

“Everyone get down!” The man screamed in a cold voice. Steve quickly pulled A stood Juliana to the floor,

Had the man walked to the altar, Juliana felt her heart stop. She had known something was going to happen but didn't trust herself, and now she was feeling all this was her fault.

“You”, the man stood in front of her and raised her chin with his g*n. Her hot tears made their way to her face, he roughly made her stand up. His eyes fixed on her belly,

“I will give you anything you want, please don't harm….” Before Steve could continue his plea, the man shot him straight in the head without even looking at him,

As Steve fell dead to the ground, Juliana screamed on top of her lungs. She tried to reach for him, but the man stopped her,

“Alpha please….” Before Juliana's Dad could say anything more, he also shot her dead. The man then killed his Mom and a few other people.

“No!!” Juliana screamed, trying to get free, but the man was so strong that he didn't even flinch, he dragged her to the door and once there, he called out a name,

“Sofia!” woman out of thin air, a woman appeared

“Take her home” he ordered. The woman didn't respond but only held Juliana’s hand.

In the next moment, Juliana found herself in what appeared to be a bedroom. She couldn't understand what was happening or how she had found herself there in seconds.

“Who are you people?” She asked with a shaky voice as she held her belly tightly,

“Us, we are people just like you” the woman said as she walked towards the couch and took a seat,

“Why are you doing this to me?” Juliana questioned as she began to cry. She had known something was going to happen, but not something as bad as that. Everyone she knew was now dead. Was this even real? She badly wanted to wake up if this was a nightmare.

“Don't ask me, I am not the one who crashed your wedding and killed your parents, but don't worry though, he did you a favor”. The woman said with an amused smile. Juliana found herself feeling furious.

“You think what happened was a joke? Do you think it's funny?” Her voice sounded furious.

“Well, that's the type of s**t I dig, so yes” the woman said with a laugh,

Juliana launched at her with full force, but before she could even wrap her hands around her, the woman disappeared and appeared at the bedside freaking the hell out of her.

“Look you little w***e, you might be upset and, up in your feelings but that….don't ever dare think of doing that again if you don't want to lose your life”, the woman warned her,

Juliana stood there in shock. How was this even possible? She was now convinced that this was just a nightmare,

She pinched her arm hoping to wake up, but nothing happened except for the pain she felt,

“I don't want to be here” she said as she continued to cry.

“Please take me back home” she pleaded, sitting on the floor,

“I'm sorry sweetheart, but I suppose I can't help you. How about you try your luck with Louis when he comes”. Juliana suddenly remembered what her Dad said before he was shot dead. It was a word, Alpha…

“Where is he?” She asked, running her hands in her hair as she continued to cry and scream,

“Oh, here he is. Back so soon” Before Juliana could process what the woman said, the door opened and the same man from earlier walked in…
