LOSING THE BABY
“Why do you keep on doing this to me? Please, just let me go”, Juliana pleaded. Elizabeth simply ignored her and continued to press her phone,
“At least give me a reason why I am here”. Juliana continued. Elizabeth was rather irritated by all the pleading by Louis, who didn't specifically ask her to be with her. She would have been anywhere but her.
“Look, it's either them or us and trust me, that man who took you is the bad guy here” she finally answered her.
“Leon is not a bad person, he helped me!” Juliana quickly answered, making Elizabeth surprised,
“Thank God Alpha is here”. She stood up and walked to the door. As soon as she opened it, Louis was standing there,
“I have something urgent to do. I won't be long” she said, and simply disappeared before he could respond.
“Why are you here?” She heard Leon’s voice. Immediately she appeared to him,
“I thought you were dead” she said, walking over to him.
“Well, I am sorry to disappoint you, but as you know, I can't die, so tell me why you are here exactly” Elizabeth tried to think of what to say. She had acted out of instinct and found herself there.
“I don't know why I am here” she said with a sign as she took a seat on the bed,
“I wonder what Louis will say when he hears about you visiting me”, Leon said with a smirk on his face. Elizabeth let out another sign
“I am not scared of Louis and neither am I scared of you, but I have a feeling things are going to get ugly soon, so I would advise you to let the girl stay with Louis for your own safety”, Leon burst out laughing,
“What the hell? She is my mate. Do you know how many centuries I have waited for the prophecy to come true? I won't let Louis have her, you are just telling me this because you are still in love with me”. It was now Elizabeth’s turn to laugh.
“You must be delusional if you think I feel anything for you, Leon” she said. Leon stood up, and before she knew it, he threw her on the bed and laid on top of her,
“What the hell are you doing” She asked breathlessly. Leon's response was to kiss her. She tried to fight for only a second before she also began to kiss him,
“What the f**k!” The two jumped up immediately when they heard Sofia’s voice,
“Seriously Leon?!” She said, disappointed.
“Sofia, you are back early”. Leon quickly stood up from bed,
“Hello Dear Sister” Elizabeth said with a smirk,
“Louis is going to love hearing about this” Sofia said, amazed.
“I had better get going then.”
“Elizabeth…” Before Leon could complete his sentence, Elizabeth disappeared.
“No one should find out about this!” Leon stated, he should look at Sofia.
“Why? I thought you were over that b***h already, especially now, since you found your mate. Don't tell me you still have feelings for her?” Sofia asked with raised eyebrows.
“You know I don't have emotions. I will use your sister as an insider, so I can find out how Louis moves”, he explained.
“As if she would tell you. Whatever is going on between you and Elizabeth, don't forget she would never betray your brother, she is his loyal little muse.”
“I beg to defer”, Leon replied…
Elizabeth was in her room back at the mansion. She lay on the bed scolding herself for what she had done.
Louis wouldn't be pleased if he heard what she had just done, but then, she knew Leon wouldn't expose her no matter what. Her sister Sofia would, though.
She let out a sign closing her eyes but just then, Louis yelled her name.
“What is it?” She asked as she appeared in front of him with a snap of her finger.
“She is burning up and getting sick” he said in a panicked tone,
Elizabeth immediately rushed to Juliana’s side,
She checked up on her and turned to look at Louis,
“Did you give her the abortion medicine?” She asked,
“Of course not,” he said.
“Then Leon might have, let me grab my stuff”. She went to her room and got her tools and began to work on her. Louis stood there visibly troubled as he paced back and on.
“The baby is already dead, we need to do surgery to remove it, or her. Also lose her life”. Elizabeth turned to Louis again.
“Sure, just make sure she is okay, Rafael will bring the other doctors to come and help”. Louis quickly linked Rafael before heading to his room. Once there, he kneeled in front of the mirror and removed his shirt, he closed his eyes and when he looked in the mirror, he saw the danger still pieced in his heart,
Green veins were spreading with poison. It was only a matter of time before they reached anywhere.
He yelled in agony as he felt a sharp pain. His body began to sweat, and his breathing became slower until he finally gave in and closed his eyes. The next time he opened them,
He found himself standing in what looked like an abyss, there was nothing surrounding him except darkness and emptiness.
Louis began to walk forward, everyone screaming out to everyone around him,
He checked for the dagger. It was still pieced in his heart, but he felt no pain, he then tried to pull it out.
“I wouldn't do that if I were you” he heard a female voice say,
Louis looked towards the voice and only saw a bright light in front of him,
“Moon Goddess” he said. He could feel the strong energy, something he had never felt his entire life.
“The Angel is awakening. I am giving you a chance to step down from the throne and stop your ruthless ways, Louis”, she said.
“Is that why I have this dagger in my heart?, to get me to dance to your tone?”
“You killed an ancient being and stepped on f*******n ground. You caused this upon yourself. If you don't step down, the Angel will kill you because you are nothing compared to her!”
“I would rather die than bow down to anyone!” he yelled. The next second, he found himself lying on the bed in his room,
Looking at his wristwatch, he realized he had been out for over 3 hours. He rushed to Juliana's room, where he found Elizabeth sitting on the couch.
“How did the surgery go?” He asked.
“She is safe, but the baby is gone”. Elizabeth told him
“Her memory?”
“She will wake up with no correction of who she is”, Elizabeth responded, making him let out a small smile of relief…
