By the time they made it back to Colt’s room, the air between them practically crackled. Avery didn’t get a chance to catch her breath—Colt shut the door behind them with a force that made the walls shudder, then turned to face her, slow and dark-eyed like a storm rolling in with purpose. “Clothes,” he said, voice low. “Off.” Avery arched a brow, but didn’t hesitate.
