As much as my nosy ass wanted to stay and ease drop on the ongoing argument happening downstairs... all I wanted to do was get into bed and cuddle up with Alessandro... the next morning I woke up to a note next to me on Alessandro's pillow.

Smiling to myself, I got up and started getting ready for the day. Evelina was already waiting for me when I got down for breakfast.
"So what happened?"
I asked her. She seemed so lost in thought and for a moment I feared the worst.
"He didn't know."
She whispered.
I breathed a sigh of relief, but it was far from over. We still had to find out how Beatrice was connected and what she wanted when she came to Alessandro...
