Jasmine's POV
Xavier's colleagues came and got him for pack business, which left just Sabrina and me. We ended up heading back to her house. Sabrina went to help her mom with a few things while I went out to train with Adam. Sabrina and Lori could still see us from inside. Adam and I trained for a while before Sabrina joined us.
"You are getting better," Adam told us, beaming at Sabrina as he said it.
"No thanks to you, old man," Sabrina said, and we all laughed.
We headed back inside and heard a knock at the door. Adam opened it and we saw Alpha John, Luna Leena, Darnell, and Oliver standing there. Terror shot through me — I hadn't seen any of them since I rejected Oliver. Oliver's eyes were fixed directly on me. They held anger, but he was smiling strangely.
Not good.
