CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR Sam walked, weary from the fight with Amin. She walked in a place she’d never been before and the night sky had long since disappeared. Opticon had been silent for hours now as well. She found a bench and plopped down in it. Her tired body was at its limit. Monster or no, it was time for a nap. She lay down on the bench. The bottom of her legs hung off the edge. It was about the same as a prison cot she had been used to.
