"I have something important to tell you, sweetheart."I said softly.
"What is it?"
"First you have to promise me something."I said taking her hands in mine.
"What?"she e said looking at me.
"Whatever I tell you, you will not be scared of me. I will never do anything to hurt you."
"I don't know what to say."she said looking down at our hands.
I sighed.
" I think the man that tried to harass you is from my enemy's gang."
"What do you mean by enemy?"
"Sweetheart, I am a Mafia leader."
Her eyes widened as a gasp leaves her lips as she covered her mouth.
"Y-you are......."she stuttered.
"Sweetheart, please calm down. Yes I am mafia leader but I don't kill innocent people. Only those who betray me or my rival gangs."I tried to explain.
"I-i ... y-you,"she tried to talk.
"You are scared of me?"I asked her sadly.
"I am just surprised, I am trying to digest everything."she said rubbing her head.
"You can take all the time you want to digest it but but don't be scared of me. I wouldn't even dream about hurting you."I said caressing her cheek.
"I trust you."she said softly.
I hugged her.
"thank you."
"I am worried about you sweetheart. That bastard tried to harass you. He has been stalking us for a while. He sent me our photos and a threatening note at my office. All this happened at the same time you got cornered at the cafe. I think this is connected."
She shivered with fear and I felt her arms tightening around my torso.
"I am scared. Is he that dangerous?" She asked, trembling.
My heart broke seeing her so terrified.
"He is, but I will not let him harm you. I will never let him come near you ever again. can you come live with me? So I can protect you. I can't take risk with your safety."
"I don't know. I have to think and also talk to Christina."
"Don't you trust me?"
"No...i mean...yes I do. It's just that everything is happening so suddenly." She said leaning on my shoulder.
I caressed back of her head and kissed her neck softly inhaling her sweet scent.
She snuggled close to me nuzzling her nose in my neck.
I sighed and kept holding her in my arms drawing circles on her back.
We sat silently for some minutes until she fell asleep in my embrace.
She must have been so mentally exhausted due to the situation.
I gently caressed her back.
"Sweetheart, let's eat something. It almost dinner time."
She whined and rubbed her eyes.
My heart melted at her adorable action.
I cupped her cheeks and pecked her lips.
"How does Russia food sound?"I said.
"I can cook something."she said softly.
"No, you are not cooking. I am not going to allow you to cook like this."I said firmly.
She nodded and got up to freshen up.
I ordered our food from my favourite Russia restaurant and some drinks from starbucks.
I settled down on the couch in the living room and saw my sweetheart coming down, looking sexy as hell in those shorts.
She sat beside me leaning her head on my shoulder.
"You look sexy."I whispered and kissed her cheek.
She looked at me and blushed.
I chuckled.
"should we watch something while eating?
"
"Okay Where is Christina?" She asked.
"I think she said she was going to spend the night at her brother's house."I said.
She nodded and handed me the TV remote.
I looked through movies on Netflix before I put on a random movie.
The doorbell ranged and I got up to open the door.
It was the food delivery guy.
I paid for the food.
We opened the boxes.
" you ordered my favourite drink also." She said with small smile.
"Yes I know your favourites."I said smiling.
Mercedes p.o.v
We started eating as we watched a movie.
I am not scared of him knowing he is mafia leader.
He has never done anything to hurt me.
He has treated me with care and love.
He is soft with me and that was what matters.
I am scared about what might happen because I still got chills when I remember what he said to me.
I don't want to lose my virginity being ráped.
I don't think I will be able to live if anything like that happens.
We finished eating and continued watching the movie.
I felt my eyes getting heavy.
I snuggled against Alessandro's chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
I felt sleep taking over me.
