I got up in morning and checked the watch to see that it was already 7:00 am.

I have only one and half hour remaining to go to cafe.

I carried out my daily routine and put on my clothes for day, before heading to the kitchen.

I decided to make some scrambled eggs, bacon and coffee.

While having breakfast, the doorbell rang.

I opened the door only to see Christina , I hugged her and usher her to sit on the couch.

I sat down beside her.

"you were not picking up your phone last night? is everything okay? he asked looking worried.

I smiled,

" Something happened last night and I didn't get thr chance to check my phone, let me make you something to eat while you freshen up."

"Can I have egg rolls and iced tea? " She asked pouting.

I giggled.

" Sure. But first tell me how is Santiago's mom doing? "

"She is stable now. She just need a few days of rest." She smiled and I sighed feeling relieved.

"But Santiago is coming today as his dad said it's not that serious" she explained.

I nodded.

"Now go get freshen up, while I make your breakfast. "

She smiled and went to her room.

I headed to kitchen to make her breakfast.

Christina came out of the room wearing casual clothes.

I served her breakfast and she blew me a kiss showing how much she appreciate me cooking for her and started eating.

I giggled and shook my head.

I started scrolling through my phone.

My eyes widened and I gasped looking at the message sent by one I never imagined.

Alessandro p.o.v

I woke up only to think about my darling sweetheart after having not so innocent dream about her.

I tried to ignore it because I didn't want a boner early this morning.

I changed into my workout gear and headed to the gym.

I completed my routine workout, sweating so much.

I headed to my room to take a shower.

I completed my daily routine and change into my work clothes.

I headed downstairs and asked the maid to make me pancakes and black coffee.

I seat on the breakfast table checking my phone to see that Leonardo has sent me my sweetheart's contact number.

He is a pro in these type of work.

I smirked and decided to surprise my sweetheart.

I typed my message and sent it to her.

>>>Oh, hi Alessandro. How are you feeling now?

>>>That is so nice to know. I'm actually preparing for work. We will talk later.

>>>>Sure,dear.

>>>>Do have a lovely day and take care.

>>>>Bye, Beauty.

I smiled, shaking my head and put down my phone.

She is going to be the death of me.

No doubt about that.

I put my phone down, blushing.

Christina was looking at me curiously.

"Hmmmm.... Something happened last night. Did you meet a guy? Did you get laid? Does he have a big c**k? Was he that great? Spill everything right now, sweetie. "

I blushed and told her everything happened last night.

She jumped from her seat giggling and hugged me.

"He totally likes you." She grinned.

"Are you crazy? we just met last night, and that also was by accident. "

"So you are telling me thst you don't like him?"

I huffed, blushing lightly.

"Well, I don't. I mean he is a stranger. I can't just liking someone that I don't know. " I answered her question.

She was about to say something when I held her hand and dragged her with me out of the apartment to avoid her talking about last night.

We headed to cafeteria, bickering constantly.

Santiago's p.o.v

I arrived at the cafe little early wearing my favorite outfit because of my good mood.

My mom's health condition is finally stable.

I also wanted to thank Mercedes for taking care of the cafe last night.

She is the sweetest and kindest person I have ever met.

She is so selfless.

I decided to bake something her favorite for her.

Oh yes!

Doughnuts.

She loves them so much.

Doughnuts it is then!

I started working on doughnuts.

As I was working, the cafe bell dinged indicating someone came.

I excitedly see if it was Mercedes but it was the delivery dude.

"Sir, I am here to deliver this flowers for someone named Mercedes."

"Yes.You can put it on this counter. " I said.

He put down the flowers and left.

They are beautiful.

I was curious who send those.

We arrived at the cafe to see Santiago already working at the counter.

He smiled at me, " Good morning! "

I grinned and rushed to hug him.

"Good morning Santiago. I am glad your mom is okay. "

He smiled gratefully and thanked me.

"I made you something. " He grinned and showed me my most favorite thing in the world.

Doughnuts!!!

Santiago's p.o.v

Her eyes lit up atn the sight of doughnuts and she hugged me again.

"Thank you so much. You didn't have to do that. " She said taking the doughnuts from my hand.

"I wanted to thank you for taking care of the cafe last night." I said smiling.

She e blushed lightly and thanked me again.

She e started eating doughnuts complimenting me at each bite.

"Oh god! They are delicious Santiago." She said.

I grinned and started working....then I remembered.

"Oh Mercedes. There is a parcel for you there. "

She looked at me with a confused facial appearance and headed the to counter.

She picked up the bouquet and read the note.

Blush coated her cheeks instantly while reading the note.

Christina giggled and said,

" It's from him right? "

Mercedes blushed again, nodding her head slightly, looking at flowers.

I am more confused than ever.

I frowned and my jaw clenched.

I don't know why I didn't like it.

Who the hell send Mercedes those flowers?
