Bailey reached out and patted her on the shoulder, then turned off the tap for her and a flowery smile bloomed on her face.
Shirley stared blankly at Bailey, who was standing in front of her. She was speechless.
Bailey held her hand and smiled as she looked at her. She spoke word by word with extreme sincerity, "Shirley, I've thought about what happened last time for a long time. I was too reckless. I know that you're not the sort to gossip behind others' backs. I'll apologize to you now. Can you forgive me?"
Shirley just looked at her and didn't answer.
"Shirley, I hope you can forgive me. I was too impulsive at that time. After all, that happened. I regret it now."
"All right."
"Great, Shirley, we are good friends again."
Somehow, Shirley couldn't smile as happily as Bailey.
