Chapter SevenToday is Jenna’s first round of chemotherapy. I asked if I could miss school and come along again, but Mum said it would be boring and not very nice. Jenna also didn’t want me to see her attached to all the tubes and things. I said I didn’t mind tubes, but Mum said Jenna does mind. That was that. So Mum went with her this morning, and Dad went to work, and I went to school. Just like every other day. She beckons to me from behind her desk and I force myself up to the front.
